Raising Up a Generation of Losers: Why This Generation Is Primed to Lose It All For The Sake Of The Gospel

CROSS CON13

Tim Byrd

Tim Byrd has been serving with Campus Outreach in Johannesburg, South Africa for the past eight and a half years. Tim holds degrees in both African-American and African Studies and English from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Due to his father being in the US Army, Tim grew up in both Europe and the States. Tim and his wife, Niai, have two daughters. He enjoys reading, playing and watching sports, working out, cooking and enjoys casual time with family and friends. Tim’s vision is that through the lives of passionate universities students within the local church, South Africa would become a gospel saturated launching pad into the nations of Africa and beyond for the glory of God.

FAQ

Can children attend CROSS CON with attendees or volunteer?

Our hope is to focus on God’s Word during CROSS CON, and therefore we ask that you find outside arrangements for childcare. If that’s not possible, children are welcome to attend, but they must pay for registration. If you have an infant that will share your seat the entire conference, you don’t have to register them. However, infant carriers cannot take up seating or encroach the aisles, and you must park strollers in a designated, unguarded room at the Convention Center. Please be aware we will not have family accommodations (e.g., nursing mother’s room and changing room).

Will there be a livestream?

Yes, we plan to livestream the main sessions at crosscon.com.

Are meal and hotel costs included in my registration?

No. A ticket for CROSS only pays for your admittance into the conference. You need to secure your own lodging, though specially negotiated hotel rates are available near the venue.
