CROSS CON16

Dennis Ju

Dennis has served in varied capacities since his college days: pastor, programmer, and professor (kinda!). Immediately after graduating UC Berkeley with a bachelors in electrical engineering and computer science, he spent three years evangelizing to college students and church planting in Taipei, Taiwan. In 2012, Dennis taught a semester of web development at the Pyongyang University of Science and Technology in North Korea. He is currently a senior software engineer at Liferay Inc and the executive director at Liferay Foundation. He’s passionate about mobilizing professionals for the Great Commission, binge listening to podcasts, and playing Overwatch (in moderation, of course).

FAQ

Can children attend CROSS CON with attendees or volunteer?

Our hope is to focus on God’s Word during CROSS CON, and therefore we ask that you find outside arrangements for childcare. If that’s not possible, children are welcome to attend, but they must pay for registration. If you have an infant that will share your seat the entire conference, you don’t have to register them. However, infant carriers cannot take up seating or encroach the aisles, and you must park strollers in a designated, unguarded room at the Convention Center. Please be aware we will not have family accommodations (e.g., nursing mother’s room and changing room).

Will there be a livestream?

Yes, we plan to livestream the main sessions at crosscon.com.

Are meal and hotel costs included in my registration?

No. A ticket for CROSS only pays for your admittance into the conference. You need to secure your own lodging, though specially negotiated hotel rates are available near the venue.
