I attended Cross Con over winter break of my senior year of college. Since a young age, I'd say most of my life has been characterized by more zeal and less knowledge. I'd heard many sermons challenging us to give our lives for missions and to be willing to leave right now for a foreign country. So, I was inwardly conflicted at times. "Am I being selfish by not picking up all and leaving now?" I'd sometimes ask myself. But deep down, I knew I wasn't mature enough for that. When I attended Cross Con in winter '21-'22, the speakers emphasized how God prepares and grows us through the local church and a correct understanding of biblical theology. Now graduated, I've been heavily investing myself in the local church and theology studies and I'm thankful for how God has used this time to grow and mature me. Though not sure if I'll be more of a "goer" or "sender" long term, the practical and wise instruction I received at Cross Con has given me confidence that God will guide me through my every-day obedience and involvement in the local church.

As a pastor of a local church, I’m incredibly grateful for CROSS. It’s been a massive discipleship tool in our church for the last six years. The strong preaching each year has opened the eyes of our young adults to God’s plan to reach the nations. By God’s grace, we now have attendees from prior years growing as disciple-makers in foreign countries and in various leadership capacities at our church.

I really believe the Lord used CROSS to change my life trajectory. CROSS further convinced me of the seriousness of the call to spread the Gospel and connected me with brothers & sisters with the same goals. I want to be used in this life to Make His Name Known, and CROSS has been a big part of that.

I have brought students and participated in CROSS for the past three outings. God uses this time to regularly recenter our aim on what is central - the glory of Jesus Christ around the globe, especially in some of the toughest-to-reach places. We have students every year who find out a little bit more about exactly what it looks like for them to be a goer, sender, or some mix of the two. We are spurred on and challenged to make his name known each and every time we come to this conference.

We have seen God use CROSS CON to help shape the character and life trajectory of many young people!We love how the conference clearly presents the global spiritual need, and connects that to to the importance of godly character development in the present to prepare us to meet that need!As a result of CROSS CON, we have seen young people grow in their love for God, get plugged into their local church, commit to regular times of devotions, pray passionately for their friends, collegues, and coworkers, create impressive reading lists, and be used by God as leaders where they are now with an openness to go wherever HE would send them in the future!

We have been able to attend the CROSS CON twice, and we've had the joy of seeing some in our group strengthened as they go into missions, and others who have grown in their love and service for God at our church. I feel that CROSS demonstrates a right dependance on God, a wonderful use of the Word, and a clear sense of God's priorities. It is a priority for us to attend this conference.

CROSS CON comforted me and challenged me as Biblical preachers emboldened thousands of young people to actively participate in the Great Comission. As a missionary kid it moved me as I witnessed the next generation become passionate about what Christ is most passionate about: His glory in all nations worshipping Him. As a church leader, all my college and young professionals left equipped, strengthened, and earnest to make Christ known among all nations. Our group were predominantly members of the unreached language groups, yet they desired for other nations to come to know and love the Lord of all! The impact Cross Con had is still fresh and our church is already preparing for the next!

CROSS CON has been instrumental in the trajectory of my life. Through CROSS, a passion for the unreached and hard to reach has been fanned into flame. Through CROSS, God has transformed my desires and aspirations concerning the ministry. Lord willing, one day, my family and I will be able to take the gospel to the hardest to reach and most unreached places. For this, I am indebted to and most thankful for the work of CROSS CON for the advancement of the proclamation of the glorious gospel of Christ Jesus.

God used Cross Con to reveal to me deeper truth about His heart for the nations and to give me the desire to see Him glorified in every aspect of my life--in fact, that His glory would be the ultimate goal of my life. And, I received practical tips, advice, and resources for how to use my gifts and skills for this purpose.
