The purpose of Crossway has been, from its founding as a not-for-profit ministry in 1938, to publish gospel-centered, Bible-based content that will honor our Savior and serve his church. We seek to help people understand the massive implications of the gospel and the truth of God’s Word, for all of life, for all eternity, and for the glory of God.

Since 1909 Christar has established churches among the least-reached: those without access to a fellowship of believers that proclaims the gospel in their language and in a culturally relevant way. We partner with local churches to help them send cross-cultural workers well and provide structure, strategy and support that helps these workers thrive in ministry.

JAARS covers this last mile using specialized airplanes, boats and off-road vehicles. We operate primarily in the green band of rainforest climates. This includes regions with mountainous terrain, wide expanses of open ocean, treacherous rivers, and little to no roads, public transportation or communications infrastructure.

Our teachers provide quality English education while developing meaningful relationships with unengaged students, colleagues, and neighbors where they live and work. We offer 3 programs: 2-4 week English camps in the Spring and Summer, a 9 month professional development program for recent college grads, and 1+ year teaching contract in one of the thirteen countries that we serve.
