Marketing & Creative Manager
Most people meet CROSS long before they ever get to St. Louis. They meet it on a phone. In an email a pastor forwarded. On a website they opened between classes.
Someone has to make those things. We’d like that someone to be you.
But let me be plain about the work before you go any further.
The job
It is ordinary. You will design, write, edit, schedule, organize, and fix. You will spend an afternoon on a headline nobody will compliment. You will re-export the file. You will do it again next week.
Very little of it will be noticed. That is not a problem to solve. It is simply the nature of the work God is pleased to use—ordinary labor, done faithfully, to serve his church and make his name known among the nations.

What you’d own
- The look of CROSS—branding, website, email, social, print, and conference graphics.
- The marketing that helps churches and young adults find us—Meta ads, email campaigns, church outreach, the Ambassador Program, and the databases behind all of it.
- The content—sermon clips, short-form video, YouTube, the podcast.
- The conference itself—creative production and whatever else the week demands.
Who we’re looking for
Someone who loves Christ and loves his church. Someone who thinks good design is a way of serving people, not showing off. Someone who notices the misplaced comma, takes a project from start to finish without being managed, and takes correction without flinching.
We’re not looking for someone to pad a résumé for eighteen months. We’re looking for someone who wants to grow here for years.
A few things to know
- Location
- Raleigh–Durham, NC. In person.
- Hours
- Monday–Friday, 8:30–5:30.
- New Year’s
- You’ll work the week surrounding New Year’s. Every year. Plan on it.
- Team
- You’d be the fourth full-time member of the CROSS team. There is nowhere to hide on a team that size, which is the point.
